The Preventive Medical Check Up is a comprehensive examination in which the most frequent risk factors are evaluated, from the point of view of family history and life habits, also contemplating other tests that demonstrate different pathologies in women and men such as: cardiovascular , gastrointestinal, hematological, respiratory, among others; The checkup is done on an outpatient basis. The Preventive Medical Check-up takes place from Monday to Friday. You must have time availability, because the service begins in the morning and ends in the afternoon. You will receive a final report prepared by the internist in charge of advancing the physical and clinical evaluations, which includes original results, medical interpretations and specific recommendations for each particular case.

The Preventive Medical Check-up includes permanent accompaniment, location in a private waiting room with WiFi, TV and breakfast after the tests, which have fasting as a prerequisite.

Medical Check Up for people under 18

It is oriented to the early detection of risk factors, in a stage where growth and development mark and define the physical, emotional and intellectual future of the human being.

It includes: Tonal Audiometry, Electrocardiogram, Glycemia, TSH, T4, Hemogram type IV, Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate, Ferritin, Total Cholesterol, HDL Cholesterol, LDL Cholesterol, Triglycerides, Urinalysis, Creatinine, Carpogram, Pediatrician consultation (Closure of medical checkup).

Optional exams: Bidimensional echocardiogram, Consultation with nutritionist, Consultation with ENT specialist, stool test.

Medical Check Up for women and men under 40

It includes: Ophthalmological assessment, TSH (Thyroid hormone), T4, Chest X-ray, Electrocardiogram, Bilateral breast ultrasound (for women), Glycemia, Hemogram type IV, Total Cholesterol, HDL Cholesterol, LDL Cholesterol, Triglycerides, Aspartate transaminase AST, Alanine transaminase ALT, Uric Acid,  Urinalysis, Creatinine, Stool Examination, Cervicovaginal cytology (for women), Physician consultation for closure of health checkup.

Optional Exams: Bidimensional echocardiogram, Consultation with nutritionist, Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Consultation with Urologist (for men), Consultation with gynecologist (for women).

Medical Check Up for women and men over 40

It is a personalized medical check-up accessible to all people over 40 who wish to supplement their care with preventive care according to their health and wellness needs

It includes: TSH (Thyroid hormone), T4, 3D Bilateral breast ultrasound (for women), Chest X-ray, Exercise Stress Test (includes electrocardiogram), Glycemia, Hemogram type IV, Urinalysis, Creatinine, Total Cholesterol, HDL Cholesterol, LDL Cholesterol, Triglycerides, Uric Acid, Stool Examination, Fecal occult blood test, Aspartate transaminase AST, Alanine transaminase ALT, Prostate-Specific Antigen (For men), Cervicovaginal cytology (for women), Physician consultation for closure of health checkup.

Optional exams: Tonal Audiometry, Consultation with  ENT specialist, Impedance Audiometry, Logoaudiometry – Verbal Audiometry, Spirometry- Flow volume curves pre-and post bronchodilator (Pulmonary Assessment), Abdominal ultrasound (Liver, Pancreas and biliary tract), Consultation with nutritionist, Consultation with gynecologist (for women), Consultation with Urologist (for men).

International Office

International Patients Center of Clínica Imbanaco Grupo Quirónsalud is dedicated exclusively to assist the foreign patient, providing guidance to their families and the insurance company before arriving to Colombia, during the stay in the city, through the process of discharge and after the patient returns to his country of origin. It also can provide support in aspects such as hotels, local tours and ground transportation required.

Our main goal is to connect the whole cycle of attention of the patient, since the scheduling of medical appointments, through a direct and timely contact with our group of physicians, up to the orientation in the administrative process with the patient or the insurance company.

Medical Check Up according to risk factors

Program oriented to detect preventable diseases and make early diagnosis in the human life cycle.

Using surveys designed by preventive care specialists, for each stage of the life cycle, which evaluates family history, genetics, life habits, and previous illnesses; establishing individual risks for each patient, classified by priority: low, medium and high, according to international protocols based on medical evidence.  International patients may fill the forms before coming to Clínica Imbanaco Grupo Quirónsalud.

The specific diagnostic exams required are indicated through algorithms based on medical guidelines, results are evaluated in consultation with the specialist in internal medicine with a preventive emphasis.
